Big News!

Hi everyone.

The big news is that Dreamweaver Stencils has sold their business to Stampendous. The good news is that I am now an Australian distributor for Stampendous products in Australia. I an eagerly awaiting my order but thought I'd give you a sneak peek at one of the stamp sets that are on their way. Only the cling set is coming but now having played with the single image stamps they will be included in the next order. The name of the characters are 'Screwloose' and 'Sparky'.

This card was created using a lot of elements from the cling set.
I used India ink for the stamped images, Gelly Roll Metallic markers for the mechanical bits and pieces, pigment ink with finger daubers for the background and
Le Plume markers with a water brush for Screwloose and Sparky.

The next two cards were done with the cling stamp
 of Screwloose and Sparky together..
As you can see they are good friends. The first card
I stamped the image onto patterned paper then colkoured the two little guys with Gelly Roll markers. They give very good coverage over dark paper and cardstock.
The background was stamped with Versamark watermark ink which was then covered with mica powder.
The second card was coloured the same way as the first just on lighter coloured cardstock.
It looks as though the stamped cogs etc were cut out and mounted onto the card but they are not. I just stamped over the papers and coloured with the Gelly Rolls.

For the next card Sparky was stamped onto watercolour paper and coloured with Le Plume markers using a water pen for shading.
The centre panel was stamped with elements from the cling set of stamps. I love the background stamp which comes from Lawn Fawn Stamps. Thank you my friend Donna for letting me borrow her new stamp for this card.

The last card was made using the individual Screwloose stamp.
The small 'Thank You' is from the cling set.
This one I stamped onto three colours of cardstock, cut them out and shaded each piece with pigment ink and finger daubers.
The big cogs in the background are a Tim Holtz die that Donna let me borrow as well. His tummy is acetate but that doesn't show up in this picture.

I can't wait for my stock to arrive from the States. I hope Stampendous and I have a long and equally beneficial business relationship.

Happy crafting,
(P.S. Thanks Donna for taking such great pictures of my cards)

I'm off to CHA on Tuesday 6th January which is a day earlier than I had planned. More time for shopping before my friend Donna arrives on Friday. I hate dragging her around the stores so hopefully I will have finished before she gets to Anaheim and I can concentrate on the trade show.
I intend to take pictures this time as well to show you some new products etc.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank our customers for their support last year and to wish everyone a Happy New Year 2015. May it be profitable for all of us in more than monetary terms.

Happy crafting,
