Mr and Meeces again

I actually created this card for the blog challenge but I allowed one of my sons to persuade me to make another one as in his opinion this one looked "Christmasy". I still like it so I am going to share it anyway.

I made another card with the Sketchy blooms stamp and the same child said it wasn't up to my standard and I had to agree with him so I made another card and coloured it differently. Much better.

I used Le Plume markers on watercolour paper. I added a bit of marker in a couple of colours then blended with a brush dipped in water.

House Mouse and Friends Blog Challenge

I love House Mouse stamps. I was a bit scared of them at first as they appear to be very detailed but colouring them is a breeze. I am very happy to join this Blog Challenge by Stampendous. Please go to their blog to see how to join in and win a great prize!

Here is my entry to the challenge.

I used a cream coloured cardstock and stamped the image with a dark brown ink. It was coloured with pencils and white gel pen. I cut the top part of the topper with a border die and added blue and green ink to the background with ink after the image had been masked. The background blooms were then stamped and then the hearts stencil was applied. I added a bit of bling to the top border and the veil and finnished with some clear hearts in the lower left corner. this was then mounted onto pink then dark grey cardstock which in turn was placed onto more cream coloured card.

The stamps I used were -

I also used Dreamweaver stencil-
