Popcessories dies

I was asked to design a class for Bella Paperie to showcase the Popcessories Dies set from Stampendous. I chose to use the Floral Charms Perfectly Clear stamp set for the first card and I used the pop-up box die with it.

SSC1243 Floral Garden Cling Stamp set.

We like to include the stamp in the price of the class so I did the card again with a different stamp.

CRP246 Blossom Bunch

The hinge die in the set allows the flowers to pop up in the middle of the box. More in this set to follow. It will be a great class!

There is a great video by Fran Seiford on how to use this set.

House Mouse and Friends Blog Challenge No. 2

I hope you are all enjoying the House Mouse and friends Challenge Blog Hop at Stampendous.
Please go to their blog to see how to join in.

Another great stamp that just so happens to co-ordinate with one of my favourite stencils.

I had always coloured the thistle green and purple but I went looking for pictures to make sure I had the colour right I found that the Australian Scotch Thistle is grey with the purple fluffy top so that's what I did. I really like this colouring at it is a little less expected. I used coloured pencil and gamsol on watercolour paper with a little watered down ink for the sky. It could have been darker but I panicked and didn't want to ruin it.
